TEK MICROSYSTEMS, INC. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN ZIMMER AS VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Chelmsford, MA – November 19, 2012, TEK Microsystems, Incorporated, the leading supplier of VME and VXS-based signal acquisition, generation and FPGA-based processing products, today announced that John Zimmer has joined the Company as Vice President of Finance. Mr. Zimmer reports directly to President/CTO Andrew Reddig. As a key member of the senior management team Mr. Zimmer will direct the company's fiscal functions, aligning this structure with our continued development and growth within the industry.

“John will focus on fiscal responsibilities ensuring budgetary adherence and growth initiatives.  Additionally, he will be overseeing the external and internal solutions that support the MIS, Export Compliance, Human Resource, Security and Facility areas.” said TEK Microsystems President/CTO, Andrew Reddig. “The diversity and experience John brings in both the finance and operational areas will be an invaluable asset with Tekmicros current growth trajectory."

Mr. Zimmer’s last engagement was Vice-President, Finance at Charles River Development, where during his 13 year tenure the company grew from $6M to $220M in revenue.  John was the first Finance hire, and played a significant role in both finance and operational areas as the company went through substantial growth.
